What is ETA
The Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is an official entry permit issued electronically by the Government of Sri Lanka for foreign nationals intending to make short visits to Sri Lanka. Upon arrival, travelers holding an approved ETA can obtain a short visit visa at the port of entry by presenting their passport.
The ETA application can only be completed online. Once approved, the ETA will be sent to the traveler via email.
