Definition
ETA Application:
In accordance with Sri Lanka’s visa policy, this refers to the act of citizens from visa-required countries submitting an online application for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter Sri Lanka.
Types of ETA:
Includes the following three types of ETA:
- Tourist ETA:30 days with double entry
- Business ETA:30 days with multiple entries
- Transit ETA:1 to 2 days
ETA Fees:
The total amount paid online by the applicant via credit card to this website. This amount includes the following two separate fees:
1, ETA Document Fee: The payment made by this website to the Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorization system on behalf of the applicant for submitting the ETA application.
2, Processing Fee: The service charge collected by this website according to the processing type selected by the applicant (standard processing, expedited processing, or express processing).
Assessment Process:
Refers to the process by which this website reviews the applicant’s ETA application.
Additional Security Screening:
Refers to the process in which the applicant’s ETA application may be subject to additional screening by this website. Such investigations are solely initiated by this website and are unrelated to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka. During this screening, priority is given to security concerns, such as the applicant’s payment method, IP address, email address, and other relevant information.
As this website provides consulting services to applicants seeking Sri Lanka ETA, it reserves the right to select the applicants it serves. Therefore, this website may conduct certain investigations on these applicants, such as reviewing their social media accounts. The aforementioned process includes such investigations.
Approval of ETA Application:
Refers to the applicant’s ETA application having been approved by the Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorization system.
ETA Application Ineligibility:
Refers to the applicant’s ETA application not meeting the conditions set by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka. If the applicant has paid any application fees, such fees will be refunded to the applicant.

Visa Global Limited is registered and operates this website lk-eta.com in Hong Kong, handling ETA applications submitted through this website.
This website is not the official Sri Lankan government website and has no affiliation with any embassy or consulate. We are a third-party service provider assisting with application matters. You may also submit your application through the official traditional channels.
Applicant
Refers to the person who applies for an ETA on this website on behalf of themselves or others.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Once the applicant completes the payment process, this website will commence the ETA application service. Except in cases where the visa is rejected, the application fees paid by the applicant are non-refundable.
2. ETA application fees paid by the applicant via credit card, debit card, or prepaid card cannot be refunded through the bank’s refund procedures. The payment process is irreversible. Under no circumstances can the applicant request a refund of the paid ETA application fees.
3. The applicant acknowledges that the virtual payment system used by this website to collect online card payments acts solely as an intermediary to collect the applicant’s ETA application fees. The institution providing ETA application services to the applicant is solely this website.
4. If the applicant initiates any refund requests, all details of the services provided by this website, approved visas, service receipts, applicant credentials, IP addresses, location information, and other miscellaneous data will be used by this website to file criminal complaints with the competent authorities.
Terms and Conditions
1. The final decision regarding the applicant’s submitted ETA application rests solely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka. The issuance of the ETA follows the rules established or to be established by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, in accordance with Sri Lankan law.
2. The applicant is responsible for accurately completing all required fields in the ETA application form. All liabilities arising from incomplete or incorrect information lie with the applicant.
3. Issued ETAs cannot be modified in any way.
4. Issued ETAs are strictly personal to the applicant. They are non-transferable and cannot be requested for transfer to another person.
5. If the applicant provides incorrect information in the application form, the issued ETA is non-refundable and non-modifiable. In such cases, a new ETA application must be submitted.
6. To assess the ETA application, the applicant must pay the application fee. No action will be taken without payment.
7. This website reserves the right to reject any ETA application submitted by the applicant without providing any reason. In such cases, this website has the right to cancel the applicant’s ETA application and refund the ETA application fee by the same payment method. This website shall not be liable for any delays or losses incurred.
8. If the ETA holder has entered Sri Lanka, they must leave before the expiry of the visa’s permitted stay. The applicant understands this and accepts responsibility for any sanctions arising from visa violations.
9. This website is only responsible for forwarding the ETA application to the relevant authorities based on the information provided by the applicant in the ETA application form. This website assumes no liability for applications containing incomplete or incorrect information submitted by the applicant.
10. The ETA arranged by the relevant authorities does not guarantee the applicant’s entry into Sri Lanka. Entry is determined by passport control officers at border points. As with other visas, Sri Lankan border officials have the right to refuse entry to ETA holders without explanation.
11. Although the applicant’s ETA application has been approved and the ETA sent to the applicant, this website is not liable if the ETA holder is unable to enter Sri Lanka.
12. All ETA procedures are based on Sri Lankan laws and government regulations. This website assumes no responsibility if any changes to these laws or government practices invalidate the ETA procedures.
13. The approved ETA document will be sent to the email address provided by the applicant.
This website bears no responsibility for the following situations:
- The applicant provides an incorrect email address.
- Emails sent by this website are intercepted by spam filters.
To receive the ETA document in a timely manner, the applicant is obliged to regularly check their email.
14. Passport control officers at the border may verify ETA information through their own systems. However, if the system is offline, the applicant is required to retain a printed or digital copy (on a tablet, smartphone, etc.) of their ETA document.
15. The passport used for the ETA application must be valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Sri Lanka. Otherwise, authorized officers may deny the ETA holder entry into Sri Lanka. This website assumes no responsibility in such cases.
16. Citizens of certain countries may be required to meet additional conditions. These conditions are specified in the ETA application form. Applicants from these countries cannot submit an ETA application unless they accept these conditions. If the applicant fails to meet these conditions, the issued ETA will be invalid. This website assumes no responsibility in such cases.
This agreement consists of a total of 20 clauses (16 + 4) and has been read and accepted by all parties.
Acceptance is deemed to have occurred when the checkbox labeled “I have read and agree to the website’s Terms and Conditions” is selected on the payment page during the ETA application process.
ETA applications cannot be submitted through this website unless this checkbox is selected. Submission of an ETA application indicates that the applicant has approved this checkbox.
This website reserves the right to add new clauses, headings, subheadings, or rearrange the existing content of this agreement at any time.
This website also reserves the right to modify the current terms of this agreement at its sole discretion.
The applicant confirms that they have fully read and approved the above conditions and accepts any future changes that may be made to this agreement.
